As one of the world’s leading manufacturers, Q-MAX has succeeded in dimming the colour temperatures in MR16 and PAR16 LED bulbs – the most commonly used LED bulbs in Germany – in a way that perfectly matches those produced by halogen bulbs. From now on, it is not just the brightness of the new LED bulbs that can be freely and smoothly adjusted, but also the colour temperature.

Normal halogen bulbs automatically change their colour temperature when dimmed. The more the brightness of a halogen bulb is turned down, the warmer the light appears – it changes from a bright white to a deep red.

This colour temperature adjustment was hitherto not possible with MR16 and PAR16 LED bulbs, because technological developments didn’t permit perfect simulation.

This shortcoming has now been rectified with the newly developed generation of MR16 and PAR16 LED bulbs from Q-MAX.

For the first time, not only can you smoothly regulate the brightness, but at the same time you can adjust the colour temperature from a bright warm-white tone (2,800 K) to a deep-gold tone (1,700 K) as and when needed – just like you can with halogen lighting.

In addition to this, the GoldDimTechnology 2.0 LED lamps achieve a remarkable 250 lm even on their highest dim level, while providing a CRI of 93. This is as unique as the colour temperature changing itself. Never before has this kind of LED bulb achieved a figure of between 93 and 95 on the colour-rendering index. As such, all the colours are rendered in a highly accurate manner. With our new generation of LED bulbs, we promise natural-looking light with no colour shifts!
